You may be able to receive two incentive payments - a commencement payment of $500 and a completion payment of $500

Overview:

This program (ACETI) will provide incentive payments to eligible aged care workers who undertake specified education and training programs.

Eligibility:

All Applicants must:-

• Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Be employed in a position providing direct care in a Commonwealth funded residential aged care service, a service providing Commonwealth funded community care or flexible care service including CACP, EACH or EACH-D, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flexible care services
• Meet the necessary qualification criteria for the chosen education or training qualification
• Undertake study with a training provider accredited as a Registered Training Organization or Australian University that is registered to provide the certificate, diploma or degree qualification
• Commence study on or after 1 July 2010 and prior to 30 June 2014.

Courses Available At Einstein College of Australia to Avail Government Funding:

• Certificate III in Aged Care (CHC30212)
• Certificate IV in Aged Care (CHC40108)

How much will Government Pay You?

• All applicants undertaking the above courses at Einstein College of Australia will receive $500 on commencement of the training and $500 on successful completion of the certificate and continued employment in an eligible aged care service.
• Applications for the commencement payment must be received by the Department of Human Services within six months of the commencement of your course
